The present invention relates to a Zn-Al-Mg alloy plated steel sheet widely used for an automobile, a home appliance, and a construction material. An objective of the present invention is to provide a hot dip plated steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance and hair line appearance and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the hot dip plated steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance and hair line appearance comprises: a matrix steel sheet; a plated layer which is formed on the matrix steel sheet and contains Zn, Al, Mg, and Be; an oxide layer which is formed on a surface layer of the plated layer and contains Be and Al oxide; and a hair line formed on the oxide layer or the oxide layer and the plated layer. According to the present invention, when the Be and Al oxide layer is formed on the surface layer of the plated layer containing Zn, Al, Mg, and Be to form the hair line, loss of the plated layer is minimized to provide the hot dip plated steel sheet having excellent corrosion resistance and excellent hair line appearance. |
