<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a housing case wherein an index card can be inserted also between the housing case and a rear face of a cassette for magnetic recording medium and the cassette for magnetic recording medium can be normally received. CONSTITUTION: Cassette fitting protrusions 40, 40 of a housing case 30 are fitted to recesses 33b, 33b formed on an upper face of a cassette 33 for magnetic recording medium at a position where a forth, back, front and rear can be identified when a case body B and a lid C are closed. Therefore, when the cassette 33 is not normally placed, the lid C cannot be closed. Thus the cassette 33 can be received in the housing case 30 with the cassette 33 normally placed. In addition, when the lid C is opened, the fitting between the recesses 33b, 33b of the cassette 33 and the cassette fitting protrusions 40, 40 is disengaged. Further, a bottom of the case body B can be maintained flat.</p> |
