The present invention relates to an apparatus to prevent thermal deformation which compresses the circumference of the pipes during a welding work of connecting the pipes to each other. The apparatus to prevent thermal deformation comprises: a first band part formed in a curved shape to come in contact with a part of the circumference of the pipe; a second band part formed in a curved shape to come in contact with a remaining part of the circumference of the pipe; and a coupling part which couples both ends of the first and second band parts to each other to provide a compressive force. As such, the present invention prevents thermal deformation of the pipe caused by the weld heat of the pipe by coupling and compressing the pipes to cover the outer circumference of the pipes with the band parts when the pipes are welded, and corrects or restores the deformed pipes before the welding work to an original shape thereof. |
