A method of producing Form I crystal of reduced coenzyme Q10 or a crystalline solid thereof, comprising: holding a solution comprising reduced coenzyme Q10 dissolved therein at a temperature of from 55° C. to 75° C. for at least 60 minutes; and crystallizing the reduced coenzyme Q10 to produce a Form I crystal of the reduced coenzyme Q10 or a crystalline solid thereof, which is substantially free of Form II crystal, wherein the crystallizing comprises cooling the solution, and the Form I crystal shows an endothermic peak near 48±1° C. when measured by DSC at temperature rise rate of 1° C./min.
