PURPOSE: To obtain printed matters such as a document which is outputted without character garbling by performing a process for outputting information of the same kind in KANJI (Chinese character) or KANA (Japanese syllabary) according to the situation. CONSTITUTION: On plural printed matters, KANJI or KANA is mixed and printed as information of the same kind and on one printed matter, either of KANJI and KANA is printed as information of the same kind. When the information of the same kind includes KANJI not to be processed by a print system for the printed matters, the information of the same kind is printed in KANA. Further, when the information of the same kind includes KANJI that is not specified by the JIS 1st standard or JIS 2nd standard, the information of the same kind is printed in KANA. In this case, the priority of a KANJI field is set high and the priority of a KANA field is set low, and when a column of high priority is blank, the contents of a field of low priority are outputted. |
