Combined radiation energy converter

The pocket-shaped glass container has one side closable by a lid, while the energy converter with spacers can be inserted into it. The converted radiation energy is guided through bushings in the lid, gas-tightly closing the glass container. The latter can be evacuated, or filled with a protective gas via a further bushing. Pref. the energy converter is inserted between a top and a bottom glass shell, at least one fitted with the bushings. After connecting the energy converter to the respective bushings, the glass shells are tightly melted together at the edges and evacuated or filled with protective gas.
