A fluid logic element has three converging input passages 21, 22, 23, leading to an interaction chamber and fire diverging output passages 24-28. The output passages are symmetrical, the passages 24, 26, 28 being coaxial with the input passages 21, 22, 23, and the passages 25, 27 having their inlets twice the size of the other output passages. Exhaust passages D between the passages connect the interaction chamber to the ambient atmosphere. An output signal in one of the outputs is provided in response to one or more input signals, for example, if A, B, C are input signals at 21, 22, 23 respectively 25 provides an output AB#C, while 24 provides an output ABC. 26 would give an output ABC, ABC or ABC, but this may be restricted to a single output ABC provided inputs A and C are mutually exclusive, i.e. A and C may not be preset at the same time. |
