1,236,989. Alkenylation catalysts. FARBWERKE HOECHST A.G. 28 Nov., 1968 [2 Dec., 1967], No. 56465/68. Heading B1E. [Also in Division C2] Alkenylation catalysts are made by impregnating a carrier material with a solution of a palladium carboxylate and drying at a temperature not greater than 120‹C to a residual solvent content of less than 20%, based on the total weight of impregnated carrier and solvent. The carrier may be C, Al 2 O 3 , clay, aluminosilicate, SiO 2 gel, SiC or ZrSiO 4 of specified pore size and surface area. Additionally the catalyst may contain Cd, Cu, Mn, Fe, Co, Ce, U, or an alkali/alkaline earth metal.
|
