PURPOSE: To provide a luminous coated electric wire having high luminous intensity. CONSTITUTION: A coated electric wire 13 is composed by coating a lead wire 11, constituted of a metallic wire having glossiness, by a luminousness protecting coating 12 composed of luminous resin raw material wherein luminous substance B is mixed into the raw material of synthetic resin. Consequently, when light is irradiated from outside, the light is stored in the substance B in a protection coating 12 to be illuminated, and receives the action of the lead wire 11 to be irregularly reflected, thereby sharply increasing luminous intensity. |
