<p>The stapling machine head is a wheel rotating about a fixed axle, with equi-spaced radial multiple expulsion mechanisms (8) actuated by a cam (5) integral with the spindle. The wheel receives wire, cuts and forms staples (11) rotates say 180 deg. then effects expulsion into the workpiece. It constitutes two similar co-axled discs abutting to form radial apertures housing staple carrier expulsion mechanisms: these latter having a rollered end (9) bearing on the cam (4) and, thus, as the wheel rotates sliding diametrically away from the axle as determined by the cam profile to eventually expel the staple into the workpiece.</p> |
