PURPOSE: To provide a communication KARAOKE system by which music data are effectively distributed at a low cost and the omission of the music data at each KARAOKE terminal is exactly prevented. CONSTITUTION: Music data are simultaneously distributed from a center station 1 to each KARAOKE terminal 2, 2,... through a communication satellite 3. At each terminal 2, 2,... the omission of the music data is checked by using a pre-distributed distribution plan information table. In accordance with the request from the terminal 2, the station 1 retransmits undistributed music data to the terminal 2 through a public line N. |
