Improvements in the construction of a speed governor result in easier casting of a suitable casing and easier assembly. A speed governor for diesel engines providing full load fuel delivery limitation with decreasing speed, has a pump regulating rod 1 is acted on by flyweights 19. A drag lever 14 is pivotally mounted in a supporting member 50 fixed in the governor casing and having a guide slot 51 which accommodates a pivot 112 of a sensing lever 11 which positively engages with the regulating rod 1. The lever 11 has an abutment 113 for co-operating with the cam disc 3 and the pivot 112 is adjustable by an adjusting motor 40 responsive to variables such as pressure or temperature via a linkage 401 to 404. <IMAGE> |
