<p>The vehicle lighting has several rotating lighting blocks which can be folded and shielded by turning when not in use. The blocks are mounted in the front skirt and there is a control for the rotating movement into and out of service. The lamps are pivoted towards the ground in their out service, position by gravity. There is a hinged shutter to shield the lighting fittings when they are folded perpendicular to the normal line of illumination. The screen, on the side near the lamps, has an absorbent and reflecting coating to stop or reflect the light.</p> |
