摘要

PURPOSE:To improve durability by contg. perfluoroalkyl polyether carboxylic acid as a lubricant in a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The perfluoroalkyl polyether carboxylic acid having the structure wherein carboxylic groups are incorporated into the molecules of conventional perfluoroalkyl polyether as expressed by the constitutional formula (n in the formula is 6-21 integer) is coated or sprayed on a magnetic layer or the magnetic layer is immersed in a soln. of said carboxylic acid, whereby the lubricant is incorporated in the magnetic layer.
