PURPOSE:To perform the cleaning work of dust accumulated on the inner surface of a flexible porous sound deadner as clean as possible and shorten the time for cleaning work. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical muffler 6 formed of a cylindrical muffler case 4 with a tube joint 3 and a flexible porous sound deadner 5 inside the muffler case 4 is formed at a blower 1. A cleaning device 10 is formed of a cylindrical supporting means 11 that can be screw-connected to the tube joint 3, a rotating rod 14 provided with a handle 13 and screw-connected to a screw hole 12 provided at the center of the supporting means 11, and an outward brush 15 provided at the tip of the rotating rod 14. The tip of the rotating rod 14 is bifurcated (14a), and the radius of gyration at the outer periphery of the brush 15 can be adjusted. In place of the cylindrical part of the supporting means 11, a disk shape part can be brought into contact with the end face of the muffler case 4. |
