PURPOSE:To increase safety, productivity and reliability of a valve body by expansion molding a flat portion of the body substantially circular centering around the axis of a stem, and fastening a metal fitting on the flat portion. CONSTITUTION:The flat portion 6 of a valve body 1 is formed substantially circular centering around the axis of a stem 5, and the stem or a metal fitting for retaining the stem is fastened on the flat portion 6. Thus, the wall thickness of the flat portion is increased, and as the flat portion is formed by expansion molding, the safety, reliability and productivity can be increased. |
