PURPOSE:To obtain a self-holding solenoid valve of simple construction, by arranging a moving iron core vertically movable in the bottom chamber of a case while vertically movably providing a permanent magnet in the upper chamber so as to be attracted and detached by an electromagnet provided in the upper part of the case. CONSTITUTION:A moving iron core 14 is vertically movably housed in a bottom chamber 13 of the main unit case 10 made of non-magnetic material, and the bottom end of this iron core forms a valve body. A permanent magnet 15 is vertically movably provided in an upper chamber 12, while an electromagnet 16 is arranged on an upper wall 18 of the main unit case. If the electromagnet is electrified, the permanent magnet 15 is dropped downward, attracting the moving iron core 14 to be held to the bottom face of a separator wall 11 and opening a flow passage. |
