PURPOSE:To constitute simply an interlocking mechanism between a slave lens system for distance measurement and a photographic lens sysem by specifying optical dimensions of the slave lens system for range finding in reference to optical dimensions of the focusing lens group of the photographic lens system. CONSTITUTION:A subject pattern is incident to a distance measuring element 22 such as a CCD through the slave lens 20 and a microcomputer calculates the extent of movement of the focusing lens 58. A rotating barrel 36 fitted around a main lens barrel 12 is rotated by the sprocket 42 of a driving motor 40 and a free rotating roll slide on a focusing ring 50, which moves back through a helicoid. At this time, a roll 32 rolls and abuts on the cam surface 44 of a slave lens barrel 10 to vary the angle of intersection with the main lens barrel 12. A slave lens barrel moves back by an end surface cam and a roll 28. The lenses 20 and 58 are made coincident in focal length and the interval K between their focal planes is set to TT-Bf-ds-H+H', forming the cam in a linear shape. |
