<p>The receiver (7) is connected to the code generator (6) through a connector (20) on the casing (22) of the parking meter (17). The mixed signals are accepted by the receiver (6). The receiver checks and validates successively the reference voltage, then the first frequency, then the second frequency, then the synchronisation, then the reception of the area code and series code. When all these are correct, the solenoid is excited and unlocks one of the two bolts of the lock with a lever which withdraws the pin which went from the aperture in the body of the lock and into a corresponding hole in the bolt.
