<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the distance between a high-tension coil and the corner edge of an iron core by alleviating the concentration of electric field of the corner edge of the iron core by a method wherein the round bar member to be used for alleviation of electric field is fixed along the corner edge of the iron core opposing to the high-tension coil. CONSTITUTION:The inside corner edge 4 of a three-leg iron core 1 is cut off on the whole length for the purpose of fixing the round rod member 5 for alleviation of electric field, and a stepped part 4a is provided. The depth of the stepped part 4a is determined by the outside diameter of the round rod member 5 to be welded to cut-cores 2 and 2. When a round bar is used for the round rod member 5, for example, and a low-tension coil 6 and a high- tension coil 7 are concentrically arranged, a welding work is continuously performed on the stepped parts 4a and 4a of the left and right legs 2a and 2a opposing to the high-tension coil 7 and the upper and the lower yokes 2b and 2b in such a manner that the electric field is not disturbed. Both end parts 5a and 5b of the round rod bodies 5 and 5 are formed into almost semispherical shape for the purpose of preventing generation of concentration of electric field.</p> |
