PURPOSE:To hinder cutting of fibres and maintain completely the tensile strength of the FRP rod in an unfastening prevention means by pushing and broadening radially the flux of inorganic fibres in a recess, filling binding material into the clearance of the fibres and the space in the recess and hardening the material so as to be locked and fixed there. CONSTITUTION:The end metal fitting 13 is provided with an opening 16 into which an FRP rod 11 is allowed to insert and, beyond the opening 16, a cylindri cal recess 12 having bottom, a diameter larger than that of the opening 16 and the same axis as of the opening 16. The flux of inorganic fibres 15, such as glass fibres, forming the end part of the rod 11 is broadened and dispersed radially inside the recess 12. By filling resin to be hardened 14, such as epoxy resin, as binding material into the clearance of fibres and space inside the recess 12 forms an unfastening prevention means 10 to bind and fix to two halved sections of the end metal fitting to the end of the die-molded FRP rod. |
