PURPOSE:To output high power laser light without lengthening a discharge tube, by distributing a microwave into a plurality of cavity resonators by a microwave distributor, and accommodating a single discharge tube, in which laser medium gas is sealed, in each resonator. CONSTITUTION:A microwave 7 is outputted from a microwave generator 8 and a power source 6 and distributed into cavity resonators 1A and 1B through waveguides 9A and 9B by a microwave distributor 14. A single discharge tube 2, in which laser medium gas 3 is sealed, penetrates the resonators 1A and 1B. Microwave discharge is generated in the discharge tube 2. Laser oscillation is generated by a total reflection mirror 11 and a partial transmitting mirror 12, and laser light 13 is outputted. Thus the high power laser light 13 is outputted without lengthening the discharge tube 2. |
