PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce a copied image, to eliminate the summing of an original plate and to improve the plate wear thereof by using >=1 kinds of resins contg. the silyl ester bond expressed by the specific compsn. formula to constitute a binder resin on a conductive base. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by providing >=1 kinds of photoconductive zinc oxide and binder resin on the conductive base and >=1 kinds of the resins contg. the silyl ester bond expressed by the formula are incorporated into the binder resin. In the formula, X denotes a hydrocarbon group, R1, R2 denote a hydrocarbon group or an -O-L group, L is a hydrocarbon group. The hydrophilicity of the non-image part imparted with the hydrophilicity is improved by the hydroxy group and carboxyl group formed in the resins. The image forming part is lipophilic and the non-image part is hydrophilic. The sharp image free from scumming is thus formed. The much higher plate wear is obtd. as the smoothness and electrostatic characteristics of the photoconductive layer are good. |
