PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a supervisory device without deteriorating the response speed by using a means which detects the abnormality occurrence probability and carrying out with preference a processing program to realize an original function in case of the high abnormality occurrence probability. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 2 stores a processing program which can carry out an original function that monitors the physical value and produces an alarm when detecting the abnormality and an additional function independently of each other. A microprocessor 1 defines the original function of the stored processing program as a host task and carries out the additional function as a lower rank task during the waiting time for the host task. This waiting time is set at a RAM 3 and an alarm generating probability detector 4 changes properly said waiting time when the abnormality occurrence probability is high. As a result, the processing program which can realize the original function is carried out with preference and therefore the operability of a supervisory device is improved without deteriorating the response speed. |
