Screen shade

In the case of strong incident light it is difficult to see the picture (image) on a monitor or television screen. Conventional screen shades have a complicated construction, a high price, and are difficult to handle. To create a screen shade which, in comparison thereto, is simplified and easier to handle, it is provided that it consists of adjusting bars (5), which can be fitted in the edge region of the screen and which can be telescopically adjusted for length. Individual shade elements (7) or a circumferential shade element (7) are provided in between which can be matched to the adjustment position of the adjusting bars (5). The screen shade is particularly suitable for monitors and television sets. <IMAGE>
