The invention relates to a bolt coupling for armoured vehicles for use when pushing and towing the vehicle. For the purpose of detachably connecting a towing recovery armoured vehicle to an armoured vehicle to be towed, the coupling has at the end a towbar which is connected to one of the armoured vehicles, is provided with a coupling ring and is held in a receptacle element of the other armoured vehicle by means of a bolt. In the connected state of the coupling, a locking element engages over the bolt and holds it in the coupling ring. The bolt coupling comprises a bearing housing, which can be rotated about a longitudinal axis, for a receptacle element which can be pivoted about a transverse axis and has an insertion mouth. In the said receptacle element, the coupling ring comes to rest in a centered fashion on the coupling bolt at a distance behind the transverse axis during towing and comes to rest in a centered fashion at a distance in front of the transverse axis during pushing.
