PURPOSE: To provide a sealing device in which rigidity of a flange part of the sealing device is improved so as to prevent the flange part from being deformed by excessive pressurizing force at assembling, and stable sealing performance is exhibited. CONSTITUTION: This sealing device is provided with a metallic ring 2 having a cylinder part 2a and a flange part 2b continued to the cylinder part 2a, a seal part 3 of rubber elastic body sealing a valve stem 6 (sliding member) on the outside end face of the flange part 2b, and a fixing part 4. The flange part 2b is formed into a continuous waved shape. |
