<p>A modulation device employs a tristate gate (2) as a modulator for transmitting a logic signal to a terminal N connected to a mains voltage neutral line. A carrier frequency signal is connected to the input of the gate and an isolating capacitor C8 is connected between the output of the tristate gate and the output terminal N. The gate is enabled by application of the logic signal to its enable terminal.</p> |
