SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET FOR NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING SENSOR

PURPOSE:To make a smallest superconducting magnet having a refrigerator by making the axis of the cold generator of the refrigerator parallel to that of a cylindrical superconducting coil and fixing the refrigerator to the specific position. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator 9a is installed diagonally 45 deg. lower on the outer face of a vacuum container 6 with the axis of the cold generator of the refrigerator 9a paralleling that of a superconducting magnet. Therefore, the height and the width of the superconducting magnet with the refrigerator are the same as those of a superconducting magnet without a refrigerator. Thereby the smallest cylindrical superconducting magnet with a refrigerator can be manufactured.
