PURPOSE:To eliminate the installation place for an input device for inputting external illuminance, cable work, etc., by providing a display control means, an input means, and communication means, and applying display control information from the input means to the display control means through the communication means. CONSTITUTION:The display means 1 is an outdoor installation type device which displays an image by a light emitting element and the display control means 2 controls the display of the display means 1 to control, for example, the brightness of the light emitting element. The input means 3 detects the external state of the periphery where the display means 1 is provided, e.g. external light illuminance. The communication means 2-1 and 3-1 receive display information from the input means 3 and apply it to the display control means 2. Thus, the display control means 2 and input means 3 transmit data by the communication means 2-1 and 3-1. Consequently, the installation place of the input means 3 is not required exclusively and no line is required to connect the input means 1 and display control means 2. |
