摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the recorded image of a mirror image easily without increasing a memory capacity reversing the discharge order of a discharge hole array during a scan displacement in a direction opposed to a direction during the recording of a recorded image where the recorded image which becomes a mirror image in connection with an input image signal, becomes a normal image relative to an input image signal. CONSTITUTION:Image information which is read using an image reading device 1 is sequentially recorded from a position opposed to a position during routine recording. In this way, an image is recorded from a position W opposed to a copy 3 reading position R, so that the image recorded on a medium to be recorded 8 becomes a mirror image which is an opposite surface of the image of the copy 3. The arrayed discharge holes for colors are arranged in the same way as those during routine recording. The recording order of colors is black, cyan, magenta and yellow. In this case, cyan information of 10mm length, magenta information of 20mm length and yellow information of 30mm length are always stored in internal memory on a liquid ejection recording device 6. Therefore, a mirror image can be recorded by outputting each color information corresponding to 'P' point at the time when a black discharge hole array has passed 'P' point during the passage of each discharge hole array through 'P' point.
