A cleaning device for cleaning the inner side in an air duct, which cleaning device incorporates a frame 1, a rotary function device 2, which is joined to the frame and which function device incorporates a rotatable shaft 3 running in the direction of the air duct, and a brush device 4, 5, which is joined to the shaft for rotation in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the air duct. The cleaning device incorporates two brush devices 4, 5, a first brush device 4 and a second brush device 5, which are arranged to rotate with the aid of the common shaft 3, and members 6, 7, with which the brush devices are arranged to rotate in opposite directions so that the torques generated by the brush devices, which torques endeavour to turn the cleaning device, cancel each other out. <IMAGE>
