<p>PURPOSE:To send a data with high emergency even at line congestion by comparing the congestion to be noticed with the priority of a received data so as to decide a data sent to a data equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a fault takes place in a transmission line 8a, its fault information is informed to a line selection means 3 via a line control section 2a and a congestion management means 4 and the line selection means 3 selects the line of the line control section 2b and a transmission line 8b as a data transmission line. On the other hand, the congestion state of the transmission line 8b is monitored by a congestion management means 4 via the line control section 2b and the information representing the congestion of the line is informed from the congestion management means 4 to the line selection means 3. The line selection means 3 decides the priority threshold level of a sent data based on the congestion and sends only the data whose priority is higher than the decided threshold level among the data transferred from application programs 5a, 5b to the line control section 2b. Thus, only the data with high emergency is sent with priority.</p> |
