<p>The square press has a press chamber with movable press dies, held on a press frame, and a drive unit, connected to the press dies. There are at least three press dies (T1,2,3,4), each of which has two surfaces, forming the press chamber (1). The sum of the angles enclosed by the surfaces is 360 deg.C. Each surface is at least partly formed as a guide for the neighbouring press die. The guide faces of the press frame (2) are at right angles to the bisecting lines of the angles. Each press die has a connected drive unit, pref. a hydraulic working cylinder.</p> |
