发明名称 METHOD FOR RECOVERING MERCURY ADSORBENT
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To easily desorb mercury adsorbed by an adsorbent to recover the adsorbent without setting a specified temp., by bringing a treating gas containing hydrogen chloride into contact with the mercury adsorbent to desorb the mercury from the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbent using oxides of heavy metal such as V, Mn, Cr, etc., is used to adsorb and remove toxic mercury included in a waste gas from a waste incineration furnace or the like. This adsorbent adsorbing mercury is recovered by bringing a treating gas containing hydrogen chloride into contact with this adsorbent. Thereby, the mercury oxide adsorbed by the adsorbent reacts with the hydrogen chloride in the treating gas to produce mercury chloride vapor, and thus, the mercury adsorbed by the adsorbent is desorbed. The mercury in the treating gas is fixed and recovered with sodium polysulfide or chelate containing sulfur, and then the treating gas is recycled for use. The recovered adsorbent is purged with air and then reused.</p>
