One embodiment example includes: - a resonator (5) having a cylindrical shape, and consisting of a stack of three layers of polycrystalline ferrite (21, 23, 25) with two dielectric layers (22, 24) interleaved between these three ferrite layers; - a segment (14) of waveguide with rectangular cross-section, used under the cutoff; - a magnetic circuit (3, 12) supplying a magnetic field for polarising the ferrite, adjustable to cause the tuning frequency of the filter to vary; - an entry antenna (13) and an exit antenna (11). Application to frequency-agile radio beams, and to any system having a requirement for a UHF filtering function. <IMAGE>
