PURPOSE: To provide a pipe joint that is manufactured with a low cost, is simply used, has a good efficiency and reliability by frontward pressing a ferrule through fastening a nut, engaging taper face of the ferrule with cam face of a sleeve, and pressing seal face of the sleeve against seal face of an installation tool. CONSTITUTION: While fastening a nut 30, cam face 54 of the nut 30 is engaged with abutment face 40 of a ferrule 26, the ferrule 26 is pressed to the axial front, and the abutment face of the ferrule 26 is engaged with cam face 44 of a sleeve 28. A front part 32 of the ferrule 26 is transformed with going into inner of a pipe 22, the pipe 22 and the sleeve 28 are frontward pressed, sealing face 42 of the sleeve 28 is engaged with seal face 14 of an installation body 10 and O shaped ring 18, then the pipe joint is assembled. The pipe 22 and the sleeve 28 are pushed forward with attenuation caused by going into the interior of the pipe 22, the sleeve seal face 42 is seal-connected with joint seal face 14 and O ring 18. |
