PURPOSE:To smoothly perform the communication of a terminal and the speech of a telephone set simultaneously without being interfered with each other as much as possible by receiving the next communication time from a center station every communication, and transmitting data for collection to the center station when the communication time comes. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of plural automatic vending machines 2 as terminal stations and a center station 1 collecting data from each of these automatic vending machines 2. The automatic vending machine 2 is paired with a telephone set 3 having the telephone number common to the machine 2, the machine 2 communicates with the center station 1 via the telephone line 7 common to this telephone set 3, and the machine 2 calls the center station and transmits its own data for collection. At this time, the automatic vending machine 2 receives the next transmission time for data from the center station 1 every communication, stores the next transmission time, and when the next transmission times comes, the machine 2 reads the telephone number of the center station 1 and performs a dialing to the center station 1. Therefore, even while the calling is executed from the side of the automatic vending machine, data can be collected at the time zone when data is required on the side of the center station. |
