PURPOSE:To improve follow-up and stability of a current control by reducing an operating frequency by a predetermined value at each time for setting the frequency when a detected current becomes an operating value or more. CONSTITUTION:If an input current of an air conditioner is abruptly increased due to a certain cause and the current becomes an operating value or more, variation of the input current is calculated by a detected current value around a predetermined time stored temporarily in a register, and a predetermined time responsive to the calculated variation is obtained. Then, a current control is operated, and the present operating frequency of a compressor is reduced by a predetermined value. Thereafter, when a predetermined time is elapsed, a process is repeatedly executed until the input current is returned to the operating value. Thus, its peak is low and does not exceed an allowable value, and a time in which the current of the operating value or more flows, can be shortened. That is, the follow-up, the stability of the current control of the input current are improved. |
