<p>A remote control signal receiver having a receiving member (2) for receiving a desired remote control signal and a noise signal, a converting member (2) for converting the received signals of the remote control signal and the noise signal into a pulse train signal, a determination member (3A, 3B) for determining whether the pulse train signal associates with the desired remote control signal to generate a control signal for controlling a unit to be controlled and a normal indication signal provided that the pulse train signal associates with the desired remote control signal, or an abnormal indication signal provided that the pulse train signal associates with the noise signal, a controlling member (4A, 4B) responsive to the control signal, the normal indication signal and the abnormal indication signal for controlling the unit to be controlled to execute a pre-determined process based on the control signal and also to generate a recognition signal corresponding to the normal indication signal or the abnormal indication signal, and a display member (5A, 5B) responsive to the recognition signal from the control member for displaying a normal reception status indicating that the desired remote control signal is received or an abnormal reception status indicating that the noise signal is received. <IMAGE></p> |
