<p>PURPOSE:To provide the register file which can improve the processing ability of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:A 1st window painter 10 outputs a 1st window address specifying a window which is currently accessed, a 2nd window pointer 11 specifies a window which is accessed before said window is accessed, and a 3rd window pointer 12 outputs a 3rd window address specifying a window to be accessed after the current window. Selectors 8 and 9 read out the data of registers specified by the register addresses of instructions supplied from the windows that the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd window addresses specify. The data read out by the selectors 8 and 9 are selected according to the execution state of a window switching instruction and then outputted.</p> |
