PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduction signal with improved S/N ratio with a simple configuration by adjusting a reproduction laser power according to a recording state. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 generates a mode signal indicating whether a reproduction area which is output by a servo area/data area mode signal generation circuit incorporated by a signal processing circuit 10 is a servo area or a data area and a control signal based on the temperature of an optical magnetic disk 2 from a sensor 7 in the case of the data area. A power setting circuit 13 sets a specific laser power according to the reproduction area with the control signal. The servo area sets a stronger laser power and the laser area sets a weak laser power. |
