PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of a solar cell by increasing the particle diameter of a CdS film or a Cd1-xZnxS window layer, reducing the surface area of a grain boundary, at the same time suppressing mutual diffusion of CdS and CdTe, and increasing the quantity of light arriving at the CdTe film which is a generation region. CONSTITUTION:After the window layer of a CdS film 2 is formed on an SnO2 substrate 1, a film 3 of Cd halide such as CdCl2 or an Li halide film 3a such as LiCl is formed, heat treatment is performed at a temperature region of 50 deg.C above or below the melt point of the materials, and temperature is increased to 700 deg.C, thus forming an absorption layer of CdTe film. Also, after the window layer of the CdS film 2 is formed, the Li halide film 3a is formed, heat treatment is performed at a temperature exceeding the melt point of the halide, and then an absorption layer such as the CdTe film is formed by baking at 650 deg.C after coating and drying a CdTe paste by the screen printing method. |
