PURPOSE: To provide an element having higher transfer characteristics while maintaining all other desirable characteristics in connection with a thermosensitive treatable picture formation element. CONSTITUTION: The thermosensitive treatable picture formation element includes (1) a supporting body; (2) a thermography or photothermography picture forming layer on a flank of the supporting body; and (3) an outermost layer. Further, the element includes a backing layer which is positioned on a flank opposite to the picture forming layer of the supporting layer and includes a binder and a mat agent dispersed into the binder, and the element further includes (4) an internal conductive layer which is positioned on either flank of the supporting body and has an internal resistivity of <5×10<10> Ω/square.
