PURPOSE:To absolutely prevent generation of electric charge in company with the discharge alike in the case provided with an integrated electrode and to reduce the evolving quantity of ozone coming to zero, by dividing the electrode part of a latent image holding member in the peripheral direction. CONSTITUTION:The electrifying device 20 is arranged so that an electric field is formed between the counter electrode 30 by the electrifying electrode 40 and the latent image holding member 10 is electrified. The exposure electrode 31 of the exposure device 21 is arranged so that the electric field is applied, having the direction in which the impressed electric charge is easily canceled with the electric charge caused by the exposure, by the exposure electrode 41. The developing device 22 is arranged so that the electric field for developing toner is formed by the developing power source 42 between the developing sleeve 221 and the developing power source 32. The transfer device 23 is arranged so that the transfer electric field is formed between the transfer electrode 33 by the transfer power source 43. The cleaning device 24 is arranged so that the electric field for peeling the toner by the cleaning power source 44 to the cleaning electrode 241 and 34 is formed. In this way, the electrode parts of the latent image holding member 10 are divided in the same direction, therefore, the generation of the electric charge in company with the discharge at the time of having the integrated electrode is absolutely prevented. |
