PURPOSE: To provide a light transmission body panel assembly with which the formation of light exit patterns of very fine meshes is possible without depending on printing methods and which is high in yield and low in cost as well as a process for producing such assembly and a surface light source device. CONSTITUTION: This light transmission body panel assembly has a planar light transmission body 10 which is made of a transparent synthetic resin, a transparent material which is arranged on the one surface of this flat planar light transmission body 10 and has a viscosity and a light reflecting and diffusing means 12 which is arranged so as to cover at least part of the one surface of the flat planar light transmission body 10 in the form of holding the transparent material 14 in-between. A light source is arranged at least at one end 10A of the light transmission body panel assembly, by which the surface light source device is provided. The transparent material 14 having the viscosity is printed on the one surface of the light reflecting and diffusing means with this material over the entire surface in patterns of a specified shape. |
