Optical arrangement for forming images of objects or beam sources

The arrangement has at least one prism in the optical path to enable the relative orientation of the image plane or the object plane to the optical axis to be changed. The arrangement forms images of real and/or virtual beam sources, whose beam centres lie in parallel planes offset so that the beam centres are essentially positioned in a plane inclined with respect to the optical axis, in an image plane essentially perpendicular to the optical axis.
