Fixing system for building sub-roof

In both storage and transport, the sub-roof is firmly joined to the main roof so as to hang below it, and the roofs are sealed against sound transmission between them, using a mechanical connection between sub-roof and main roof. The sub-roof suspension is by simple belt and/or rope and/or wire and/or belt loop and/or lattice and/or netting and/or yielding spring rail and/or slotted rail from various materials e.g. fabric, plastics, metal etc. A firm connection between sub- and main roofs should offer reliable storage and transport and be releasable on site to allow the insulating seal to be produced. This storage and transport connection can be by simple screws, or again in the case of transport by special metal plastics or wooden screws which be unscrewed or broken off on site. Transport security can be dispensed with by changing the length of the hangers as a result of the inherent weight of the sub-roof, thus affording the necessary distance between main and sub-roofs on installation.
