<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the opening and closing control device and method of an air conditioner, which are capable of preventing the inflow of dust or foreign matters upon stopping the operation of the air conditioner, by a method wherein the opening and closing period of time of a suction grille and a discharging port door are stored when service interruption occurs during opening the suction port and closing the discharging port while the suction grille and the discharging port door are moved to close the suction port and the discharging port by the stored opening and closing period of time upon being released from the service interruption. SOLUTION: An opening and closing control device for air conditioner, equipped with a suction port, a heat exchanger, a discharging port and a discharging port door, opening and closing the discharging port, is constituted of a suction grille, opening and closing the suction port, a voltage detecting means, detecting an input voltage, changed upon the opening and closing of the suction port and discharging port, a control means, judging the existence of service interruption in accordance with the input voltage detected by the voltage detecting means, a memory means, storing the opening and closing time of the discharging port door and the suction grille (S61) when service interruption occurs during the suction port and the discharging port are opened and closed (S6), and a driving means, moving the discharging port door and the suction grille by the opening and closing time, stored in the memory means, upon being released from the service interruption to close the suction port and the discharging port.</p> |
