PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify joining by providing a decorated veneer on the surface by way of an incombustible board and providing a recessed groove along both surfaces and thereby forming a ceiling material main body and inserting a joining member between recessed grooves of adjacent main bodies so as to join both main bodies. SOLUTION: An end member 8 provided with a recessed groove 3 is fixed with both sides of a central member 7 so that it may be integrated. An incombustible material 1a is provided on the surfaces of the central member 7 and the end member 8 while a decorated veneer 2a is pasted on the surface of the incombustible material 1a, thereby forming a ceiling material main body 4. The incombustible material 1a is provided on the surface of a substrate material. The decorated veneer is pasted on the incombustible material, thereby forming a joining member 5. When it is necessary to join the adjacent ceiling material main bodies 4, the decorated veneer side of the joining member 5 is laid out on the side of the decorated veneer 2a of the main body 4 while the joining member 5 is inserted between the recessed grooves 3 of the main body 4. Furthermore, a fixture 6 is inserted into the joining member 5 from the rear surface of the end member 8 of the ceiling material main body 4. This construction makes it possible to join the mutual ceiling material main bodies with ease. |
